Quick Triage Guide
- Read changed lines in Files changed first; that is where the actual trap usually is.
- Cross-check title, branch, checks, and claimed intent. Tiny wording changes often hide big behavior changes.
- Approve narrow, internally consistent changes. Reject anything that weakens auth, validation, trust boundaries, or release integrity.
Example
A PR says it is a small refactor, but the diff also removes strict callback validation, relaxes token checks, or adds a localhost exception in production. That is not cleanup; reject it.
A PR that renames a constant, keeps the same guardrails, and lines up with its checks and branch intent is usually safe to approve. You are not hunting for scary words, you are hunting for changes in trust.
